Q: Does Northwest Health and Safety Inc. have a retail location that I can go to and purchase products?
A: Yes, our retail store is located at 6300 NE St. James Road, Suite 106, Vancouver, WA 98663. More information about our retail store
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday 10 am to 3 pm.
Q: Do you sell to the public?
A: Absolutely, a majority of our customers are end-users!
Q: Do you accept medical insurance for billing purposes?
A: We do not provide any direct insurance billing services, this includes Medicare and Medicaid billing.
Q: Why are your prices so much lower than anyone else locally?
A: Part of the reason is that we do not accept any insurance billing assignments. This is a huge expense and requires additional staff, crazy amounts of paper work and ridiculous layers of bureaucracy. We focus on the customer with the best quality products at the lowest prices. On average our customers save around 25-50% on new medical equipment and up to 75% on used equipment. The other reason is… were good negotiators with our vendors.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Used Equipment- 3 business days for in-store credit only.
New Equipment – Varies by product. Hygienic items or items that come in contact with the skin are non returnable. Special order items are non-returnable. Ask a customer service representative when purchasing for more details. Items with manufacture defects will be returned in accordance with manufacture return policies.
Q: Do you deliver?
A: Yes, We have delivery trucks that deliver in SW Washington and Northwest Oregon. Outside our general service area we can ship USPS, FedEx or a courier service. *Delivery fees may apply.
Q: Do you rent medical equipment?
A: Yes, we rent wheelchairs, hospital beds, knee walkers, scooters, over bed tables and much more. Visit our rentals page for more information.
Q: I have medical equipment that I no longer need. What can I do with it? Do you buy used medical equipment?
A: We do not buy used medical equipment. We offer consignment on certain medical equipment. We are the areas largest retailer of used medical equipment. Call us for more details 360-737-8910.
Q: Do you offer repair services for medical equipment?
A: Yes. We repair walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds, scooters, power wheelchairs and most medical equipment. Our factory trained technicians are fast, reliable and can get you moving again at a fair price. Need batteries for your equipment? We have the lowest prices in town on mobility scooter and power wheelchair batteries.
